Triple X.

Moody, brooding and harsh contrasts of light, reflecting dark deep shadows that only heightened the vernacular of the brand’s identity, Alber Elbaz declared the latest Lanvin ready-to-wear collection a culmination of Xtravagant, Xtreme, and Xperiment: Triple X!
A furious flurry of pleating, feathers and textural exuberance, the Edwardian references were forceful, as helmet clad models took the audience on a twisted time lapse, their faces predominantly cast into darkness.
The overly laboured excess, threatening to literally burst at the seams, saw nostalgic showstoppers in ghostly floor length gowns transcending fluidly into elaborate flapper girls and Edie Campbell in that dress! Following, in severe contrast were a sparse handful of seemingly simple silk slip dresses, the calm amidst the beautiful storm.
