Polka-dots with paisley, stripes with floral and Aztec with
safari…it appears that colour blocking is out and in its shadow stands the idea
of, ‘print blocking.’ Yes, that’s right
you heard correctly, you are officially allowed to mix contradicting and
conflicting prints in an effort to create an eclectic, vibrant style. The look
on the runways at the spring/ summer 2012 shows, was an exuberant collection of
colours and patterns reflecting the ideal that for the next season, or so, the
only word we’re going to have to replicate into our style is PRINT PRINT PRINT!
