Loco for Coco






















Coco Rocha is a fabulously determined force in the fashion industry and she’s got some serious personality to match! Since her debut, the Canadian model, who was born Mikhaila Rocha, has spoken out against the prevalence of eating disorders in the modelling world, worked with an enviable list of coveted fashion houses, designers and magazines, Irish danced her way down a Jean Paul Gaultier runway, received the Seventeen Body Peace award by Seventeen magazine for her collection of articles on the topic of girls body image and self esteem, hosted the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards white carpet, received an award for her and her husband, James Conran, philanthropic work at the Pay It Fashion Forward event in Manahattan, NY, produced a short documentary, ‘Letter to Haiti,’ and appeared as a guest judge of America’s Next Top Model, alongside Tyra Banks, where she was frequently referred to as the, ‘Queen of Posing.’ It’s hard to imagine this larger than life fashion icon is only a mere 23-years-old. While I was scouring the internet, lusting over her sky high cheek bones and aparent ability to suit any hair colour imaginable, I stumbled across this interview from Style Republic…
